The parameter for modes that are not privately owned has a scale parameter of μ2 = 3.91, leading to a nest coefficient of μ/μ2 = 1/3.91 = 0.26 for Class 1, and to nest coefficients of 0.15 and 0.22 for Class 2 and Class 3, respectively. For all classes, the nest coefficient lies thus between 0 and 1, which is a requirement for a valid nesting structure
